KnudsonJack Rabies epidemic model

Rabies is a very deadly disease that can be transmitted through any living mammal that is either bit, scratched salivated on etc. The transmission rate of rabies from a rabid animal is usually 15% but can be anywhere from 0.01%-60%. Rabies is preventable with PEP, but once an animal/human is infected with rabies there is no cure and once infected is will lead to death no matter what. Once only one mammal is infected with it it will pass it on to every possible victim until it dies which because there is no cure and the recovery rate is 0, it will eventually lead to everything being infected and dying. In this model it shows how rabies can effect a major population within a long period of time. This model has interactive sliders and a graph.
