An example of an epidemic model with a population slider and a graph. There are transmission rates and recovery rates built into the code, but no sliders to manipulate those variables. This model can be used for the first experimentation lesson. This is specific to Ebola. Ebola has a transmission rate between 44-90%. The time as a carrier is between 2 to 21 days. The code accounts for both of these. Items that may be manipulated without changing the code are # of healthy, and sick at start, death rate which in real life is about 50%, days as a carrier, and transmission rate.
