Cholera is a virus that is caused when a person ingests dirty water contaminated with Vibrio Cholerae. This disease can be found in a lot of places especially where clean water is hard to find like Africa, Latin America, and Southern Asia. Around 150,000 people die each year due to cholera, and around 4 million are infected each year. This disease causes watery diarrhea and eventual dehydration, leading to death, but can be cured with a vaccine that has an extremely high cure rate. This disease is then spread through the diarrhea with the vibrio cholerae in water that more people ingest.
